Vic West Steel Roofing
There are a number of profiles to choose from but the SuperVic profile is the most common.
Our SuperVic profile gives you the classic look of standing seam in a cost-effective roofing solution. Four main ribs 3/4" (19 mm) high, coupled with stiffening beads on each low side of these main ribs, give triple protection and assure a snug fitting side lap. Sheets are custom cut to length and usually the 28 guage thick is purchased. Steel roofing works best on higher pitched roofs and is best that the roofing does not line up with your deck railing when the snow comes sliding off! Many accessories are available for this product. Eaveguard
Henry Eaveguard® Self-Adhered Shingle Underlayment is specifically designed to provide secondary waterproofing protection to shingles as well as prevent ice damage. It is composed of high-tack rubberized asphalt and glass fiber mat. Sand on the upper surface provides a slip-resistant working surface. Our quality coil roofing nails are electro-galvanized in a yellow zinc formula for exterior rust protection. Available in 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" lengths, our nails are compatible with all brands of coil roofing nailers.
Asphalt Shingles
All asphalt shingles have a fiberglass core now. There are only two Canadian manufacturers of ashphalt shingles. The manufacturers are CRC/IKO and BP. There are a number of American shingles available in the market as well.
