product have exceeded expectations! It looks as
the days of green coloured Pressure Treated lumber
Our spruce lumber comes exclusively from Canada's forests.
The term "stud" gets mixed up sometimes. A stud can be 8' long or "precut" to 92-5/8" or 104-5/8".
Long lengths of spruce (for example 2"x12"x24') may not be spruce at all! They could be a species of white fir or Hemlock/Fir.
Spruce lumber is the choice for general framing. It is not recommended for decks or other exposed areas. We buy in kiln-dried spruce lumber and almost always, we will have a premium grade in stock.
Our designers have tables that provide us with the information about the appropriate size to use in applications like floor joists or ceiling rafters.
We carry a complete range of sizes and the product is stored under a roof once the tarp has been taken off.
Although we are in the building business, not manufacturing, we do carry a small assortment of Maple and Oak lumber in both 1" and 6/4" sizes. The grade is FAS (clear). The widths may be random.Come in and check out our selection!
