We stock the CRC/ IKO brand of shingles. There are various lines within the brand to choose from. We stock the Superglass 25 -3 tab design and also the Biltmore line. Other styles are available with about one to two weeks lead time.

This vent comes in a clear plastic wrapper and is sometimes called "Shingle-over-vent". It is 20' long, a 50 year warranty and has the nails included.

Maximum Ventilation

Unlike the turbine, the 301 static ventilators do not require to rotate to prevent water or snow infiltrations. Its unique storm proof deflector system prevents infiltrations while at the same time capturing the wind flow from any direction and at wind velocities as low as 4 miles/hr. With this combination of technology, wind and pressure differentials, a “chimney effect” results in drawing the stale air and moisture out and replacing it with fresh new air that enters through the soffits. With as little as a four miles per hour wind, this ventilator is creating an air exchange rate of 418 C.F.M. Available in these standard colours: Black Brown Grey. . It’s recommended ventilation capacity is 1000 to 1200 sq. ft. Just one of these ventilators can replace three twelve inches or two fourteen inches turbines. A bonus feature to the 301 is it’s wire mesh to prevent infiltrations of unwanted rodents and birds. Made for residential buildings, built tough for industrial use: Lifetime limited warranty. Eavestarters

These 10' lengths of metal are not much but are very important. We are showing the galvanized variety in the illustration. We also carry aluminum eavestarter in two profiles in black, brown and white.

Prime

Our quality coil roofing nails are electro-galvanized in a yellow zinc formula for exterior rust protection. Available in 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" lengths, our nails are compatible with all brands of coil roofing nailers.This product is also available at our Rent-All Department.

Underlayments

Grace Ice & Water Shield®

The leading self-adhered roofing underlayment, Grace Ice & Water Shield offers premium leak protection for sloped roofs in climates subject to ice dams and wind-driven rain. It is applied to the roof deck prior to the application of the finished roof covering, which is most often shingles but can also be tile or metal. The membrane goes under shingles and seals around nails that hold the shingles in place, so water that doesn't drain properly cannot penetrate the roof. It also creates a weather-tight barrier against wind-driven rains that cause shingles to lift and leak. Affordable and easy to install, it provides added peace of mind for many years, even in the most brutal winters.

Bakor

Henry Eaveguard® Self-Adhered Shingle Underlayment is specifically designed to provide secondary waterproofing protection to shingles as well as prevent ice damage. It is composed of high-tack rubberized asphalt and glass fiber mat. Sand on the upper surface provides a slip-resistant working surface. Additionally, the lower surface has a split-release silicone release backing for ease of application. This is our most popular underlayment. The roll size is 3'x65'. Visit the Bakor website.
