Finally ! Lightweight Drywall

SHEETROCK® UltraLight Gypsum Panels are re-engineered, lightweight gypsum panels with a patented, composite design. The non-combustible core is encased in 100% recycled face and back papers. The natural finish face paper is folded around the long edges to reinforce and protect the core and the ends are cut square and even. The long edges of the panels are tapered, allowing joints to be reinforced and concealed with CGC or SYNKO® Interior Finishing Products.

The panels are for use in non-fire rated applications such as new residential, repair and remodel construction, and can be installed on steel or wood framing. SHEETROCK UltraLight Panels are manufactured to meet ASTM C1396 Specifications for 1/2" gypsum panels and 1/2" gypsum ceiling board, and comply with the requirements of the National Building Code of Canada as both regular drywall and ceiling board.

Joist Hanger Screws

Strong-Drive® SD Screw for Structural Connectors

Designed to replace nails in certain products, the load-rated SD screw has been tested and approved for use in many popular Simpson Strong-Tie® products. In certain applications screws are easier and more convenient to install than nails, and the single-fastener load values achieved by the SD screw exceed those of typical joist hanger nails, respectively. In addition, the galvanized coating makes the SD screw ideal for both interior and most exterior conditions.

The SD structural-connector screw features an optimized shank which is specifically designed to be compatible with the fastener holes in Simpson Strong-Tie connectors. The hex head virtually eliminates cam-out and helps avoid stripping of the head during installation. The sharp point of the screw enables fast starts, and the patented serrated threads reduce torque for improved drivability.

Schluter Ditra-XL

Ceramic and stone tiles are durable, easy to maintain, and hygienic, representing the ideal surface coverings. However, today's lightweight construction methods can make the installation of hard surface coverings particularly challenging. In order to protect the integrity of the tile assembly, an underlayment that performs multiple functions is required.

Schluter-DITRA-XL is a polyethylene membrane with a grid structure of square cavities, each cut back in a dovetail configuration, and an anchoring fleece laminated to its underside. Schluter-DITRA is bonded to the substrate using thin-set mortar. The anchoring fleece on the underside of Schluter-DITRA-XL is engaged in the mortar to provide a mechanical bond to the substrate.Read more on our flooring page by clicking here.

InvisiRail Glass System

The glass is held in 4 places with a stainless clamp system. In order for this to work, thick glass needs to be used. Therefore, this system is not cheap but you have an unobstructed view.
